You've listed your home and Pachyderm Realty will be holding an Open House.

Step-by-step instructions on how to get your home ready for anOpen House:

De-Clutter and clean up!  Take a step back and walk through your house from the front door. What does your house look like to a stranger? What you want is a clean slate. You want the buyer to see your home as a place they can make their own... to make it their home.  We'll need to make your home as neutral and attractive as possible.  Here are some ideas:

• Clear all items from tables such as Dining Room table, side tables, coffee tables, occasion tables, etc. except perhaps a plant or candle.
• Remove as many photographs as possible.  Any unhung photographs should be put away neatly. If you can replace personal photos that are hanging on the wall with neutral artwork, do that!
• Put all toiletries away including toothpaste, Qtips and the like.
• Remove shoes from the entrance and hallways.
• Pets' toys need to be put away.
• Kids' toys should be completely removed from the main house and put in their rooms neatly.
• Countertops need to be clear in kitchen and baths.
• Remove all cars/trucks from driveway. Park them in a neighbor's driveway if possible so there is room for your visitors to park anywhere they choose.
• Open the curtains and shades to allow the beautiful light in!
• Vacuum, dust and wipe down all exposed surfaces and floors.

Open House DON'Ts:

• Don't leave your beds unmade!
• Don't leave valuables anywhere in the home. Remove jewelery, cash, heirlooms and other precious items from the home entirely. We suggest taking these off the premesis and put into a safety deposit box or other such place.
• Don't leave confidential information such as emergency contacts within view.
• Don't leave a dog or cat loose in the house, particularly one that barks or will try to get out when people visit.
• Don't use sprays or scented plug-ins. Some people are allergic.
